In June this room was stripped back to the wall, pipes exposed and the ceiling unfinished. On 15 July the family had a new kitchen. One month, at the price agreed up front.
The room was stripped back to the wall: bare concrete, chased channels and service pipes on show, an unfinished plasterboard ceiling and a raw floor. From there we had to build a complete kitchen, to a handover date committed in writing.
We redid the electrical and plumbing services, closed and finished the plasterboard ceiling and fitted the whole kitchen: sage green fronts, oak-effect units, a marble-effect Neolith worktop and splashback, a display cabinet with integrated LED lighting and a granite sink. The drawers run on Blum soft-close hardware and the wall units open upwards.
