Here we touched the kitchen, the bathroom, the floors and the outdoor space: building work, electrics, plumbing, carpentry and fitting, each trade with its own timing and its own turn. When every trade runs on its own, whoever lives there ends up managing the site without ever asking to.
One point of contact for the whole job: the same person who quotes the price, coordinates the trades and answers when something is unclear. The price is fixed in writing before we start, and the guarantee is in writing too. In the kitchen we fitted handleless taupe fronts, a wood-finish worktop and splashback, an LED strip under the wall units, black pendant lights, an undermount stainless steel sink and a built-in oven, with a wooden bar that doubles as a table. In the bathroom, a round countertop basin on a solid wood top, wall-mounted concealed taps, and a rain shower behind glass.
